Abstract

In Urdu literature autobiography is a separate literary genre which is a self-written account of person's life. It is a story of Person's life, written by that Person. Many writers enriched the Urdu literature with exquisite autobiographies .Ashfaq Ahmad and Qudrat Ulla shahab are one of them. Ashfaq Ahmad wrote ''Baba Sahiba'' and Qudrat ullah shahab penned ''Shahab Nama". 'Ashfaq Ahmad was a well-known fiction writer, drama writer, travelogue writer, anchor, translator, broadcaster with equitable and kind manners. Qudrat ullah shahab is considered as one of the renowned literary crafts man. Qudrat Ullah Shahab was an eminent Urdu writer, civil servant and diplomat from Pakistan. Ashfaq Ahmad in his book ''Baba Sahiba'' shares his personal experiences and reflections on life, love, spirituality and human relationships. The book offers readers insights into Ashfaq Ahmad journey of self-discovery and his quest for deeper understanding of mysterious life. Shahab in'' Shahab Nama'' shares life experiences, including his career in the civil service, his interaction with political leaders, and his spiritual journey.
